Didn't feel strong tonight, but feeling like I had a decent session. Pleased with my 1 hand sandbag Happy I actually like one arm presses better than 2, seem to get leg drive better I think

I do too think the sandbag would be a good attempt.

Hardly a pussy session mate keep plugging away. Not sure how you could rack the bar as you alway have the hooks low as f**k Wink

I dunno how the hell I managed it mate. Was in myself fonight, and didn't want to drop it and bend another bar. 2 in a week would get me a bit of stick.

Cheers mate, I had planned to do maybe 5 or 6 singles at 160 on fronties, but ended up deciding against it after my cock up racking it.

Yeah, it was a good one. Reading it back, we covered quite a lot.

200kg Zercher squat added to my goals list for sure.

Decent session with Neil. Fronties felt good, happy to get some reps at that weight. Found doing them with the clean grip helps with my setup and leg drive for OH stuff

I tried a few times as well, and it just didn't feel right.

I decided I was going to stick with it because I was starting to lose weights forward even though I fet I would be strong enought to come up with them.

I took the weight right back and started from scratch with the clean grip. It hurt a bit at first but within 3 or 4 sessions I was coming towards my top weights again.

Since I started wrist flexibility has improved majorly and it doesn't hurt at all.

I found the biggest difference was when I moved my thumbs to the same side of the bar as my fingers (ie thumbless grip) and I now automatically take the bar like that to press.

I cant recommend enough sticking with it even if it is sore.

Neil normally has the bar sitting well off his chest, at almost chin level for OH pressing, and he can now do it with the bar sitting on his cavicles, its just about sticking with it IMO
