Cheers guys.

Had fun today. The timed set on the deadlifts was a killer. Wish I had gotten 20 now. Think fresh I could do 30+ think I am gonna do at least 1 timed set of something a week to help conditioning.

Neil, you are right about my head being my worst enemy. I think having bench and dips etc back in training will help OH. Leg drive is improving from the fronties and if I can get another couple of inches of drive I think the push press would jump up a fair bit.

also the dynamic work on the west side stuff will help you explosiveness too

i think there not much difference for him strength wise but with his girly hands and grip theres only so far he can go Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink

Nick, as easy as the 130 looked, I couldn't seem to do any more. Sure its all in my head. It will come.

I find that front bar is better for a max as grip is better with or without straps but side handles is a lot easier for reps (although you wouldn't guess it by the state of my set)

I very rarely do side handles generally and its the first time I have ever dont them from 18". I think with practice they would end up a lot higher than front bar due to more natural position.

Neil is right, my girly hands are the limiting factor on these, I cant seem to do them with straps.

When are you getting a journal on the go anyway Nick, I am keen to see your progress as you seem to have a lot of potential

Pleased with it given I felt like s**t and had not eaten for 6 and a half hours when I started. Thet must be a PB in its self Grin

Defecits were tough to get down to, still a bit stiff from Sunday and the bar was sitting on my feet at the bottom position. Hoping that being able to pull a decent amount from foot height will help with stones.
