INCLINE PRESS MACHINE
3 sets of 10 reps with 70kg

LEVER ROW MACHINE
3 sets of 10 reps with 54kg

FACE PULLS
3 sets of 10 reps with 34kg

SINGLE ARM TRICEP CABLE
1 set of 10 reps with 14kg
1 set of 8 reps with 14kg
1 set of 7 reps with 14kg

CALLED IT THERE
Mrs elbow was beginning to feel it a little so we went home for food.

I've been eating f**kall and not tak8ng any supplements since last session. Was really run down come the weekend.
Feel much better now though!

SQUATS
5 sets of 3 reps with 142.5kg (That was heavy!)

BENCH
1 set of 9 reps with 100kg
1 set of 6 slow reps with 2 second pauses on bench.
2 sets of 5 slow reps with 1 second pauses.

SEATED DUMBELL PRESS
3 sets of 8 reps with 28kg

LAYING SIDE RAISE
3 sets of 12 reps with 8kg

PREACHERS
2 sets of 5 reps with 20kg on bar.
1 set of 8 reps with 17.5kg on bar

TRICEP PRESSDOWN
3.5 reps with stack (1 rep pb)

TRICEP PRESSDOWN
3 sets of 12 reps with something.

FACE PULLS
3 sets of 12 reps with 18.1kg (felt light)

Very bad session.

I had a very bad, very tired session today.

Played it very safe.

MACHINE PRESS
3 sets of 10 reps with 76kg

INCLINE MACHINE
2 sets of 10 repa with 70kg
1 set of 9 reps with 70kg.

UPSIDE DOWN KETTLEBELL PRESS
3 sets of 5 reps with 10kg kettlebells
This was tricky. Turned out right hand was more stable than left.

SIDE RAISES
1 set of 10 reps with 8kg
1 set of 8 reps with 8kg
1 set of 6 reps with 7kg

CLOSE GRIP PULLDOWNS
3 sets of 10 reps with 67kg

SINGLE ARM TRICEP EXTENSION.
1 set of 14 reps with 10kg
1 set of 10 reps with 10kg
1 set of 6 reps with 10kg

BICEP MACHINE
1 set of 10 reps with 36kg
1 set of 6 reps with 36kg
1 set of 5 reps with 36kg

I'm f**king tired man. I was dying on my feet in there and had all the power of a wet fart.

Wow that was a step down in quality but the important thing is that I did it and that I continued regardless.
It's a lifestyle; good times or bad.

I did it in a comp in 2011. My lack of height was an advantage, as I could wedge the tips of my knees under the bar, and there was some flex, so probably not as impressive as it appears on paper. When I look back at my strongman days this doesn't feature as one of the feats that I'm most proud of. Not going to lie. I'd be bloody proud of both of those achievements. When you thing of it. Putting 120kg overhead wether single or for reps is a pretty damn rare achievement. Something I chase to this day!

1st ever "arm day"

I did an arm day today.
I've never been one to train my arms until the last month or so and I thought why not.
I spammed a bunch of tricep and bicep exercises with short rests between.

For triceps.

Palm up single arm cable pushdowns
2 sets of 12 reps

Single Arm overhead cable extension
2 sets of 12 reps

Cable kickbacks
2 sets of 12 reps

Straight bar pushdowns
2 sets of 10 reps

For biceps.

Preacher curl
3 sets of 12

Seated laid back curls
3 sets of 12

Some kind of bicep machine
3 sets of 12.

Conclusion
So that was a bit different. Arms definitely felt that "pump" everyone goes on about and felt weaker and sorer come the end. It doesn't make you tired like squats do though that's for sure. Kinda feels like a cop out day for if you want to go to the gym but are feeling lazy.

1 set of 6 reps (re rack for 20s) then 2 morr reps with 100kg

Incline maching
3 sets of 8 superslows with 60kg

Wide grip pulldown.
2 set of 8 reps with 66kg
1 set of 8 reps with 59kg

Lever row
3 sets of 8 with 41kg

Face pulls
3 sets of 12 reps with 23kg

Tricep press machine.
3 sets of 6 reps with 73kg

Preacher curl
3 sets of 8 reps with 15kg on the bar

Laying side raises.
3 sets of 12 reps with 6kg

Here, could you imagine 5 sets of 10 reps with 100kg on bench? That'd be f**kin mad wouldn't it?
Someone would think that a lad who could bench 110kg for 5 sets of 10 reps would be able to bench 132.5kg wouldn't they?
