The OHP was solid, nice reps, no grinders. The squatting was OK, I've managed 155x9 before Christmas, but the weight felt heavy on my back tonight. It is only the second time squatting in the shoes, so that may be a factor. I noticed in the vids I took that my elbows are pointing backwards. Hmmm. Rows heavier this week and more reps on the dips. Chins down a rep or too, but with the heavier Rows, that's to be expected I guess. Dropped the rest periods from 90 to 60secs for both supersets. That is all. | ||

I think I need to get used to them though. They do feel more solid, but have adjusted my position somewhat. I'm wondering if that's why my reps were down. Inclines were solid enough and not a struggle; weight up next week. Deadlift speed off floor was epic tonight (see vid). Saw Loz doing some Deadlift training (vid on FaceBook of him doing reps of 340kg!), and his speed was incredible, so tried to emulate that. CGBP was easy. Sticking with the weights for this wave though. Delts were much more fatigued before the blast, so weights down. Still got them burning That is all. | ||

I think watching Loz deadlift training inspired me. I would normally be a bit more slow and steady, but I think properly going for it is the way forward. | ||

Was feeling a bit tired when I started, but strong coffee sorted me out. OHP was good tonight. Got some vids of 2nd and 5th sets for your critique. Squats were awesome. It's my back that I think is the week point, as I start to fold at the tail end of the rep set. Both supersets had me blowing out of my arse. BOR weight up. Might be a total rep PB there too, but can't remember really. That is all. | ||
