531 press (BW Chins in between sets)
Good Mornings
Circuit (Including Pressing and Rows)

Thursday
531 deadlift
531 bench (BW Pull-ups inbetween sets)
GHR
Circuit (including KB Swings and Weighted Dips)

Saturday/Sunday
Log
Moving Event (farmers/yoke)
Pressing Event (Circus DB, Axle)
Loading Event (Stones/Kegs/Sandbags etc)

Not really done 531 propwerly before, so will see how I get on.

Laid on floor for 10mins recovering.

Sh1t the bed, that was a tough session. Squats went well, but lower back strength the issue. Got massive back pump in the last set, which meant the Good Mornings were bloody hard. Don't think my back is recovering well of late, but I'm working it hard. Pressing was meh. My weakest link for sure. Wanted 8 reps, but it wasn't happening. But then I did press on Sunday and circuits yesterday included a lot of press-ups and some more (actual) log pressing. The circuit was horrendous. Never been that shagged afterwards. Sweating and blowing like a mo fo!

Pretty good session. Wanted a few more on the deads, but 165x8 isn't too bad. Shocked at how many reps I got on bench. Wasn't expecting that. Pull-ups are getting better too. Proper pleased with them. Aiming for 3sets of 10 then I'll add weight. The Zerchers are back. Great carry-over to deadlift and strongman in general, so although Satan's work they're staying. Will gradually up the weight on them. Dips also improving, reps up.

Did circuits at lunch today. Holy Mother of God, my whole body aches now. Properly awesome. Might have persuaded the guys to do Tough Mudder next year as well.
 
We've introduced a numbering system now. So, 1=touch the ground left hand, 2=touch the ground right hand, 3=jump, 4=turn around and run the other way, 5=sprint. So we do that throughout, and stop every 150-300m to do at least two different exercises normally in sets of 10, 20 or 30.
 
3km circuit, 40mins. Exercises included; log press, log front raise, log bnp, chins, star jumps, burpees, press-ups, incline cg press-ups, decline press-ups, squats, split squats, planks, one arm/one leg planks, crunches, leg raises, dips, curlz!

Log definitely improving. 1-motions definitely feel much better than the pushes, but more work needed. Form getting better though. Got some extra triceps work in today as well. Thought I'd try out the Apollons axle. Really tough on grip; even with mixed grip. Callouses nearly came off. Getting some razor blades today me thinks.

Cheers Will. Definitely prefer the 1-motions. Getting any kind of drive from legs in the push press is quite difficult.
