when lack of motivation hits you , its time.

its time to say hi to HIIT.
AvatarSparrow
LOL, it's time!

Wednesday - 'The year of the deadlift' is back into full swing, my friend. No excuses, no bailing out due to 'stiffness', deadlifts are getting NAILED on Wednesday, plain and simple.
AvatarCuddles
Cant smash your way through every session mate, take the rough with the smooth and come back stronger on Wednesday!
JD
we all have bad days fella.

wednesday you will be back to destroying the wieghts
AvatarJoni
wise words guys, thanks.

What pisses me off is that something as trivial and uninteresting as a job is causing me so much s**t that it eats into something as important as training.
AvatarSparrow
PRIORITIES man! Sort it out! Put things into perspective and focus your attention on the things that are really important in life!

Joni - come and train at my gym. The sense of outrage due to the management not allowing access to the platforms will surely get the adrenaline pumping Grin
AvatarJoni
LOL! Grin

Aye, need to sort this out and get a new job asap.

Should have married a rich woman...

yo Joni, I remember you giving me some advice on my squatting on Sunday, something about needing to tighten up. Could you expand on this now that I'm not completely monged...
AvatarJC
considering it was an off day Joni, those cleans aren't too bad TBH. Sure you will be back, balls to the wall on Wed Happy
AvatarJoni
thanks JC, hope i am ok tmr, legs still sore!

hey it might have made sense then, but dont know if it would be now Grin I just watched your vid and your 170 looks good IMO and i cant remember what i was talking on the day lol! But you lost your 180 on the day down eh?

i mostly talk s**te anyway Wink

ADLINGTON

Crazy day today at adders, just to illustrate, half a dozen guys nailing 140+ overhead, some for reps, you dont see that kind of lifting in many gyms across the country!

Felt like i let the side down a bit by not being on top form, but made some progress nevertheless. Strength creeping up slowly but surely and i am glad about the direction. Once i get some of my major s**t sorted (or ignored) in my work life, i'll be back with a vengeance (as will THE BULK OF DOOM).

behind the neck split jerks

Today main focus was on getting the leg drive, splits were s**te and small but tried to get more on my toes and get that drive in.
bar x some
5x40
5x40
3x60
2x80
2x100
1x110
fx120
5x100

Deadlifts, off the floor today
5x140
3x180
1x200
2x220 - f on third
good: double with 220 is more than i have doubled before, and the first rep felt very strong, grinder on second sapped me out
bad: should bag a triple with this if i am to get 250 in 4-5 weeks time.

Strict press
5x50
3x70
2x85
6x80 - just two off all time best, pleased

narrow grip bench
5x70
5x90
5x110
5x120

these felt strong, dropping to 5s after weeks of 8s feel like holiday arriving. Plan is to get 125 next week then 127 or 130 for 5 week after.
AvatarHayden
Some top work tonight mate. You let no-one down... 110kg overhead on a bad day is f**kin solid mate.
AvatarJoni
thanks man, thats just the way i think these things, always expecting more Grin

not necessarily a bad thing mate. 110 overhead and 220 for 2 on deads is still a good session!
