Mish there have been a lot of failures in your recent sessions, i think you need to back off a little and have a good month or so where you fail no lifts. Aim to have session after session without failing a lift, hammer the pulls and squats but no failed lifts. Get that success pattern back in your head and move away from accepting failures as part of your training. Then start thinking about pushing the top lifts back up again. Just an idea!

I take it i should stay away from 90 and 120 then, or should i get one good rep the back down? What volume? Anyway no failure!
I dont feel particularly weak under the bar to be honest, yet my squats are pants for some reasons.
Do you think i should work on 5's again or keep on getting heavy singles in, no matter how heavy it is as long as it's a dayly max!?

I'd maybe go up on singles to a reasonable weight but stop as soon as there isnt a 100% certainty you'll get the next lift, no chances of failure. That will mean being disciplined with yourself sometimes leaving it even though you fancy a bash at a bigger weight. Then drop down 5k and get another single in then drop down another 5k and do 3 doubles for snatch and 3 lots of 1 pwr clean and 2 jerks on the C&J. That will give you lots of volume with good working weights with no failures all being well.
I'd do 3s on pulls and after the heavy work sets drop down to 100k on snatch pulls for 3x3 from above the knee.

Good session Mish, count the 90 if it was only lost on the way, and well done for dropping down and getting the graft in afterwards. I like the look of that session

You're right i've had enough failures, i need to make my work count. Now it's security and work, one day at a time. I'm reasonably happy with the fronties because they were fast and not too light. Fives in the ftsquat are a bloody pain in the arse!

Work has been most taxing to say the least.
More money is always nice, yet i dont think i'll be able to train like i used to. Mondays and saturdays from now on at best. Fortunately, from where i stand, i can say i should be able to come over sooner than i thought. That's music to my ears but i wish i could have come sooner and stronger.
I'll try to keep it tight and look into some pre xmas English vacation!
