was touygh getting out of bed for training on Saturday, felt severly under the weather, which I still do now. Anyway, thought lets have less of being a pussy and get on with it:-

Squats:-
60KG x 8
100KG x 8
130KG - 6x2 - was comfortable at this weight, but still working on new yechnique with wider stance and bar lower on back

Walkouts - 3 @ 20 secs 180KG - this seemed really heavy. I am meant be squatting this at end of cycle, but from how heavy it felt, I am very doubtful

Board Press: 2 Boards - 140KG x 3
160KG x 1 - Comfortable

Tricep Pushdowns - 5 sets of 5
Wide Grip Chins - 5 set of 5 @ BW

Plank x 3 - 1 min duration
Swiss ball & medicine ball s**t after that

Happy all in all as felt gash, but walkout was a concern!!

it will grow into you. or you might have just had a bit of a shaky position, like i often end up with when going heavy!

resoect the weight, then destroy it Wink

that is the plan Happy

had it very steady, just seemed heavy, could feel myself sinking into the ground LOL

not a problem, it will be done by end of the cycle, even if it kills me, end of!!

been a really hectic week work wise and also felt like s**te, so unfortunately no gym session till last night. Anyhow, deadlift day went as follows:-

T-Bar Rows - 60KG 6x4

Shrugs 150KG 4 x 6 - Easy, easy, easy (soccer AM stylie!!)

Deadlifts 6x3 160KG - also Easy, easy, easy (soccer AM stylie!!)so was flying by now

Rack Pulls (Juts Below Knee) - 185KG 3x3 - after being concerned last week at how difficult these were, they were fine this week so happy

DBell Curls 4x8 55LB - nice pump, followed by bit of tensing and flex in the mirror.

Lines such as "the pump, it is like coming" & "lets get serious" followed to myslef in mirror
Roll-Eyes

Good workout all in all. Bench today then Squats on Sun me thinks

training dog s**t at mo, well not actual training, just the frequency. struggling for time with work and other commitments, but will hopefully ease up a bit this week and can get into routine again. anyhow, friday was:-

Big Bad Bench: 60KG x 10
100KG x 10
135KG 6x3 reps - piss easy really, so was happy with this

Strict over Head Military Press 65KG 4x5 reps
Skull Crusher 65KG 4x6 reps

Pretty short and sweet work-out. Benching was pretty easy, will do some board presses at some time this week and maybe some speed bench work

Will hopefully be squatting Tues night

bench again last night. Really pushed for time so couldnt get to Catts (no squat rack at toher gym Angry ). Was meant be squats, but with no rack, needs must. Anyhow, felt fresh and banged out:-

Bench: 60KG x 12
100KG x 8
135KG 6 sets of 4 - last set of 4 was a real struggle, which suprised me. Although, due to raining on own and getting bored in between sets, only tend to rest 60secs between sets

BB Strict Standing Military Press:
50KG x 6
60KG x 6
70KG x 4
80KG x1
70KG x 4
70KG x3

At this point, 2 17yr old bicep boys, about 7st piss wet through, begin to inform me how the above is bad for me and I would be better sitting on a bench and doing them in the Smiths machine!!!!!

I dint ecen bother to correct them Unhappy

BB Rows:
70KG x 8, 92.5 x 6, 102.5 x 6, 112.5 x 4, 92.5 x 6

Standing Hammers Crurls:
60Lb Dbells (3 sets of 6)

Decent workout. Cant wait to get up to speed with squats on Thursday though!!

no mate, unfortunately not. My training has been all over the place with work and family commitments, so its just as and when at the moment. Could certainly do with training with other ppl though

Yes 180 raw hopefully, although bit of a pipe dream. Best is 160 paused, however, that is the heaviest I have tried paused, would nail 165 me thinks!!

We had the same thing with ours. A 6 week course and we got a certificate at the end of it. Not sure if they learned much, but it was very good for socialising for them.
