I'm not a doctor mate, but the shoulder sounds like a classic imbalance problem. Hit the facepulls hard and restore the balance. I try to put them into every bench session and if I can't fit them in I do them the next day.

training last night was bit of back abd biceps, shoulder still giving me the dry bum!!!

Lat Pulldowns 90KG x (4 x 6)

Deadlifts from 8"
100KG x 6
130KG x 6
160KG x 6
190KG x 3
210KG x f - not happy with this, always thought more could be pulled from racks!!
190KG x 2

Shrugs
160KG (3 x 5)

Seated Rows - 100KG (4 x 6)

Barbell Curls - 50KG x (4 x 6) - few drops sets incorporated
Dbel Curls 60LB x (4 x 6) - again with drop sets

Good workout, all done in 40 mins, worked up quite a sweat

8 inches is a horrible place to pull for most people I'm guessing, I'm weaker at any rack pull from below the knee than I am with the bar off the floor.

we all have our sticking points and weaknesses. Keep at it for couple more weeks though, you might just need to work on your positioning and starting pull.

Ditto what Rob said. That position lacks leg drive but the reduction in ROM dosn't always make up for it. I will be hamering those type of pin pulls myself in te elad up to my nxt comp.

Cheers fellas, that makes me feel better Happy Was thinking much the same, in that speed generated from the floor would be lost in an 8" rack - struggled to move the 210 at all really!!!

Squats on Saturday at Catts. Tried to warm up using my usual squat grip and shoulder f**king killing (I have no suppllety as it is!!). Went really wide (as in touhing discs wide) and felt a litle better so carcked on:--

Squats
60KG x 6
100KG x 6
120KG x 5
130KG x 5
135KG x 3
140KG x 3 - felt OK, butr not totally comfortacle with how holding the bar

Leg Press
200KG 4 set of 6 - last set multiple drop sets

Hamstring Curls - 4 set of 6

CG Bench - Warm up to 100KG for 4 sets of 6
Some tricep pushdowns & gripper work and done!! Not happy about my bas***d shoulder, although, think it may be more of a flexibility issue than anything else, as is OK with shoulder exercisesConfused

All done in fourty mins, bit of a sweat on and shoulder felt pretty good

im the same with the deads, doing them from the rack makes them no easier. infact last time i tryed them they were harder!!!

well not light, just not super heavy Grin

yeah rack pulls I find vey difficult, especially below the knee!!! Need to nail them though if I want a 250 dead by then end of the year Grin
