Alrite guys, been reading the forums for a few weeks. Pretty good laugh and some great lifters! Basically I'm 18, live in glasgow and I've just got into powerlifting so pretty much a beginner. Been into weight training since I was about 16 went to the gym and really pissed about, didnt know what I was doing and didnt have anyone who did to slap me. Started lifting this year in january on the stronglifts 5x5 program. Decided to mix it up now and going to try the westside template. If you guys see anything that I'm doing wrong or whatever then please tell me! Current goals are just to put on a good base of strength, obviously to be as strong as I can and not to limit myself. Who knows what I'll get upto with a few years of training behind me.

Ive been making pretty fast gains in strength with the stronglifts 5x5 program but its started to plateua and I think that was like 9 weeks I was doing it so hope I can keep making good progress on the westside template, lots of variation.
