Went early today, to escape the worst of the heat. Feels like temp was 30 at the beginning and 34 at the end so didn't really work. Not a wasted session though, did 3 doubles on squat. Would have liked an amrap of 3 or 4 on the last set but not there. Paused deads felt pretty good,5 km up on last time. Then home to melt. (90.4)

Warm in the gym today, but not as hot as Monday or Tuesday. Actually had a pretty good session. On overhead my right shoulder did not bother me. Made 3 sets@52.5 with no problems. Close grip was on the limit on the 3rd set. Hopefully will make 3 sets@55 on overhead next week. (91.2)

Started ok, but ended a bit disapointingly. Squat went OK. Top set slightly harder than I wanted. Deadlifts I had in my mind 3 sets@190, but ended up with just 1. 2 more sets would have been a grind. (90.9)

This was a short but successful session, which was well overdue on bench. Possibly could have done another set@90. Incline felt way better than it has done recently, and pull ups felt good, too. (90.9)

Despite feeling a bit weary before the start, this was a pretty good session. Could have manged another set on squat. Paused deads also went surprisingly well. Bit more there too. Carries were new. Not too difficult. (90.9)

Generally a successful session. Working sets on overhead were hard, but never in doubt. Closegrip was ok, but pressed a bit too hard, and last rep@87.5 was a real grinder, so stopped. Rest was fine. Week off now, going on a walking holiday on the Welsh border. (90.9)

Having been away in the Wye Valley since Saturday, a nice gentle session was what was needed. This took around 40 minutes, got rid of some aches and pains. Next 3 weeks are going to be gentl I think. (90.3)
