If you're gonna buy several houses cash surely you can retire already? Just how lucrative is carpet handling exactly?

No this would be from savings and then we would make more and more money renting out the houses. Is not well paid am on less than £8 an hour unless it's a sunday and the mrs doesnt get much different, but you really don't need to earn a lot if you dont have a mortgage and kids. We each pretty comfortably put back £500 a month right now an thats living pretty large for orford, we have a pretty lovely house, a couple 40+ inch plasma's tv's, 3p recliners, top of the line nepresso machine, 7 animals, expensive wardrobes and dinning table, superking bed etc go from this to a static without the rent and you will find the savings are pretty massive. 20k a year is possible.

Sounds nice mate. My view is probably skewed by living so close to London, would need hundreds of thousands to make it viable here.

Yeah would probably get a blade of grass for 15k in some parts of london. I know people who have houses valued over 1 million and yet they are pretty much the same as my bruvs that he's sold for less than 100k.

I've heard our cleaner talks us up at the golf club for having one of them. When he first got it us he told us to
be in for when it gets delivered, so were like why what is it?? He said it's a coffee machine. We was like meh, we have a kettle (thinking it be like £20 or something) an was out when it got delivered. He of course got pissed off by this which we didnt really understand. When we got it we was like f**k this looks expensive! Looked it up an it was £250 plus it had near £50 of pods with it.

I do enjoy this fact. Where do you get your refill capsules from, Paul? I got my last lot from Amazon, but got massively ripped for them.

Yeah the proper ones are expensive no matter where you get them. We tend to keep those for special occasions, guests etc then buy the compatible ones most the time for us to have day to day. Get those from ebay, amazon, even asda.
