Sat 27/12

Freezing cold this morning but still got some decent work in.

Log press
70kg x 3,3,5
80kg x 5
90kg x 5
100kg x 5 PB
102.5kg x 4 PB
120kg x 3 cleans only
135kg x 3 PB cleans only

Rested shins from moving events this week as my shins have been giving me grief recently, plus wanted to try out Tony's suit for deadlifts, so...

Deadlifts
70kg x 2
110kg x 1
150kg x 1 suit just too small Angry try JC's 46 Centurion
190kg x 1 gave nothing, so tried my old 44 (adjusted many times though) Centurion, couldn't get it on though
190kg x 1 raw from here
220kg x 1
240kg x 1
250kg x f Angry

1 arm BB snatch (SPOLA practise)
40kg x 1
50kg x 1 felt easy enough, but shoulder wasn't happy

Grip work - 75 secs each arm on Shawn's Orbi-grip (feel the burn!) followed by 170kg behind the back BB hold (22.9 secs). Then did another hold of 27 secs with 170kg behind the back.

Took the dogs out for a walk and realised I'd forgotten to do my board work, so...

4 board press
60kg x 5
100kg x 5
140kg x 3
170kg x 5 PB

Pleased that the log is still going in the right direction. Not sure what to do about the deadlifts, I need a new suit but not sure what size to get. Will have another go at the SPOLA comp, see what I can get up to with the 1 arm snatch, then maybe have another go with DB clean and press to see which way I can get the most weight up.

Nice session, definately on for next saturday mate. What time do you need me there for?

Would like to do some stones and yoke if thats OK?

Yeah the suit did kick my ass. It's just too much with the straps up, even very, very loose can't get to the bar. May have another bash on Wednesday though Grin

Yeah still fine for you to come next week, yoke and stones not a problem at all.

How does 10.30 sound?

They were from the shoulders Will, so not long at all. My pb with 100kg reps from the floor is 6 reps (done in about 30 secs).

Nice session on Saturday mate and some very nice pre Xmas sessions too. the 10.5 secs on the yoke woul;d certainly do me Happy

Definitely 10 reps in you @ the 100LG log. If you can do 6 one motions in 30secs. the other 4 should go no probs. Must say, think your looking really really good at the mo'. Get the suit on and start flying with the deads and cant see a weakness!!

10.30 sounds fine mate.
