Have you noticed any carryover to your conventional? I was considering trying a bit of sumo because I think it may help my lockout.

Should be in Sugden tomorrow around 2 if you fancy, won't be much for me though, just a light one.

I reckon you could have done 120ish on Wednesday. The triple at 105 looked really comfortable (and deep).

Very nice benching Rick, looking forward to seeing what you get raw. Any predictions / targets?

Off to Grizedale Olly, can't wait, I love the Lakes.

Thanks Iain, although i'm not sure if I'll make the 90's, another cycle on Smolnov and the added weight in my legs will probably put me in the 110's. Grin

Thanks Ticth, appreciate it mate.

Buzz - thanks for the reminder, but I've discovered there is a NW comp for BDF in February, so thats the one I will probably do.

I've worked it out that there is exactly 10 weeks between the NW and nationals. It takes exactly ten weeks to do a Smolnov cycle. Coincidence? I think not.Grin

Nice session mate, deadlifts are looking strong (as they should though with your f**king back). Grin

Just curious but do you normally deadlift Sumo?

A 300 deadlift would be awesome. Get it done. Grin

Training looked good last night mate, few more weeks and you'll be squatting decent numbers again.

Thanks once again for all the comments.

Iain, i've only done one PL comp and that was back in 2006. I think I got 595.

BC - I shall be competing this year, still not too sure what Fed. I was going to do the BDF on the 24th of this month but I'm off to the lakes for a holiday so it will have to be another one.

Bodyweight is probably a bit more than 90 now, I would say about 92/93, I shall weigh myself and update the profile.

Squats are looking good mate. Volume is the way forward JC, get with the program mate. Grin

Not fancy trying Smolnov yourself? If you can handle that much volume you could handle Smolnov. Wink

het bud they felt easy until the 2nd last set where it got really hard oll of a sudden. but end of week two off this program has me doing 130 10 x 3 so hoping that the legs will finally adjust to the volume

The second week of the first phase was the hardest of the entire cycle for me, by the third week I think you'll find your body starts getting used to the volume.

I very interesting video, thanks for posting.

The squat is such a technical lift, there are so many things to remember.
