Back at the Farm tonight, I've not really been training properly for some time however I've now got 4 full weeks in the UK so i'll be trying to get back on it. No plans to compete this year though but I will be refereeing whenever possible. Weighed in at 118.75kg, still much to fat! Squat. 2 x 5 x 20 5 x 40 3 x 60 3 x 80 3 x 100 3 x 120 2 x 130 1 x 145 Easing back into it slowly, all over deep as usual, happy to say that there were no real problems. Bench. 10 x 20 8 x 50 6 x 70 4 x 90 2 x 102.5 1 x 107.5 3 x 100 5 x 80 7 x 60 Overcoming the osteo-arthritus by benching close grip, happy to say it is relatively pain free but at the expense of some kilos on the bar. Deadlifts. 2 x 5 x 60 3 x 90 2 x 120 1 x 140 These hurt and were disappointingly hard, that said they were my first deadlifts since October 16th, nearly 12 weeks! | ||

Hmmmm, a little heavier than i expected. Squat. 2 x 5 x 20 5 x 50 3 x 70 3 x 90 3 x 110 3 x 125 2 x 140 1 x 150 No real issues, will continue in this vein for a few weeks. Bench. 10 x 20 8 x 60 5 x 80 3 x 95 2 x 105 1 x 110 3 x 100 5 x 82.5 8 x 65 No point in rushing these, easing back slowly. Deadlift. 5 x 70 4 x 90 3 x 110 2 x 130 1 x 150 Wow, my deadlift really needs some work! | ||

Weighed in at 119.15kg. Squat. 2 x 5 x 20 5 x 50 3 x 70 3 x 90 3 x 110 3 x 130 2 x 142.5 1 x 155. No problems but closing in on my current limit. Bench. 10 x 20 8 x 60 6 x 80 2 x 100 Should have been 3x but did not feel right! 3 x 100 1 x 112.5 2 x 3 x 100 8 x 70 The 112.5 was definitely tonight's limit. Deadlift. 5 x 70 4 x 100 3 x 120 2 x 140 1 x 160 1 x 167.5 Weights are starting to become challenging! That said it's nice to have exceeded the British qualifying total without really trying. | ||

Squat. 2 x 5 x 20 5 x 60 3 x 80 3 x 100 3 x 120 2 x 135 1 x 150 1 x 160 Happy to have ground these out, everything just felt really heavy and did think about cutting these short. Bench. 10 x 20 8 x 60 6 x 80 3 x 100 2 x 105 1 x 110 1 x 115 3 x 100 8 x 75. Good. Deadlift. 5 x 70 4 x 100 3 x 125 2 x 150 1 x 175. Felt heavy but never in doubt. 450 total in training, a week ago that was 392.5. Will get back to some proper training from Wednesday, doubles and triples, just like the old days! | ||

I'm putting it down to having suffered all day with a dose of the Eartha's. Weighed in at 118.85kg. Squats. 2 x 5 x 20 5 x 60 4 x 80 3 x 100 2 x 120 2 x 135 1 x 145 should have been 2x. 0 x 152.5 should have been 2x, in-racked it then put it back 1 x 150 2 x 130 Nothing left and back playing up! Bench. 10 x 20 8 x 60 6 x 80 1 x 100 1 x 105 1 x 110 2 x 100 5 x 5 x 80 Nothing like the session planned. A full weekend ahead of refereeing at the equipped then back in the gym on Monday. | ||

Weighed in at 119.60kg, too many bacon sarnies in Horncastle! Dealift. 2 x 5 x 70 4 x 110 3 x 130 2 x 150 2 x 162.5 2 x 172.5 2 x 160 2 x 145 5 x 130 Exactly as planned, no issues other than burning palms. Bench. 10 x 20 8 x 60 6 x 80 2 x 100 1 x 110 1 x 115 2 x 3 x 102.5 8 x 80 The 115 was on the limit but session went to plan. All in all much better than Friday. | ||

Deadlift. 2 x 5 x 70 4 x 110 3 x 130 2 x 150 2 x 165 2 x 177.5 No issues up to here, however the 177 double wiped me out and I cut the last three doubles of 170,160 & 150. Bench. 12 x 20 8 x 60 6 x 80 3 x 100 2 x 110 1 x 117.5 2 x 110 4 x 100 8 x 85. All self unracked, the 117 was probably tonight's limit. Should be good for at least one more session this week before travelling again next! | ||
