Dissapointed with the 115 but the benching was all a bit rushed.

A single at 115 is really pathetic James, it needs to be over 120 before the end of August.

Lot's of volume Malc but topping out with doubles at 80% max, the plan is to hit 90% (207.5) doubles before August.

Squats start Wednesday with lots of volume but topping out with doubles at 80% max again.

All part of the Finch 8 week plan prior to the "All England".

Only about 10 of us in today. Weighed in at 113.05Kg.
Very hot, sweating like a proper sweaty person throughout!

Eleven or twelve lifters in tonight and a good atmosphere pervaded as is usually the way on a Friday. Weighed in at 113.3Kg.

Deadlift.
Target was a double at 85%.

Happy with these, none of the lifts were really on the limit.

Weighed in at 114.25, oh dear, my heaviest this year!

Squats - Doubles to 84% target.

Pretty much the limit for today, however this is exactly where I should be 8 weks from a competition.

Apologies for the lack of updates MrW, here's a c atch up.

Wednesday 25th. Too busy at work, didn't finish until late, no training.

Friday 27th. Very busy week at work, lot's of travelling and stopping in service stations for long conference calls!!! Finally got too the gym Friday evening feeling knackered. Weighed in at 112.7Kg. Can't remember who was there but I do recall MJW dancing his squats back into the rack.

1 x 192.5 Such an effort but it came up.
Knocked it on the head here and experimented with cheating, otherwise known as Sumo deadlifts.

Very quiet at the Farm, weighed in at 113.0Kg on the newly calibrated and certified scales. Took the painkillers before training tonight, first time since March!
