The Farm has had something of a revival post lockdown Funky, lots of lifters always makes for a better atmosphere.

Spent the weekend at Horncastle for the equipped British championships. Godd to catch up with other lifters that we have not seen for a while.

You'd hope so Bill. Today was one of those days that come around every couple of weeks. Two 6 hour train journeys this week and a resulting bad back, no training on Wednesday and seriously humid at the Farm. This session did not go to plan. Weighed in at 119.95kg.

Should have been working trebles up to 140, however it was never going to happen today.

Bench.

All felt heavy but all done with no handouts and no spotters.

Bad day, will go for it again on Monday.

I generally un-rack and re-rack without spotters when i think that it's going to be comfortable. Today i was left in the embarrassing position of having to cry "help" when the second 105 press just got stuck on my chest... Unhappy

Just 8 lifters at the Farm tonight, probably heat related absences! It was unbelievably hot and humid today.

Nice benching once again Ian. If your knees are are the cause of the problem with squats, why not take it easier on squats and focus on deads more. They use many of the same muscles without hurting your knees. Then when your knees are feeling up to it again, catching up again will be easier....hopefully!
