Wednesday 19th Feb.

A good turnout tonight considering the students are away, that said we had some of the England U20 Rugby team in with us for the first 30 minutes or so, apparently they are holding a training camp at the college this week. Squats with DL James & Scott. Weighed in at 111.65Kg again, I cant believe I'm still struggling to bulk up.

Squat. Trebles to 83.5% of target.

Satisfied with tonight's squatting, It felt like a serious squat workout. The 3x167 whilst not easy was not on the edge and I was using fairly accurate plates (no Yorkies) as well as the half kilo collars so I could probably claim 168.5, which according to the Finch formula equates to a single at 192.57.

Finished with some un-interesting assistance stuff.

My 151 frontie leaves 3 of us on this however Scott nailed a comfortable looking 181 tonight.

Just 3 weeks to the Masters!
A good laugh at the Farm tonight, despite the toss*rs with their remote control cars. Weighed in at 111.70Kg.

Deadlifts. Trebles to 86% target.

Not too bad, Very little time between sets probably contributed to the 102.5 failures. All benching was done in around 30 minutes.

Tuesday 25th.

No training last night or tommorow night, I'm in Amsterdam on business until Thursday. Not ideal with less than 3 weeks to the British!

That said however I've seen the qualifiers and I'm targeting a third place finish��
The other two guys are looking for 600+totals compared to my 540.

Takes the pressure of a little��

Nice lifting Ian, looking fine for the masters. What are you aiming for? 200/120/230?

Chances are I won't be doing it. The main reason is the problem of getting to Horncastle as I don't drive, and simply can't afford to spend the entire weekend up there, taking taxis from Lincoln. A secondary reason is that to go all that way, I'd want to do significantly better than I did at the divisionals, which on current form I won't, except for bench maybe. The last month or so I have started to make progress and I want to work on that. I am going to compete again before next November, I would quite like to do the All Englandsin August.

I'm lifting in the 120's Funky, against guys that often weigh in at 119.8!

My AM bodyweight is generally around 110Kg so i'm giving away nearly 10Kg, as well as several years to some lifters.

That said, after the Masters in two weeks i'll be dropping down to the 105's for a few years!

What i'd like Bill is as follows:
Squat: 180/190/195.
Bench: 110/117/120.
Deadlift: 210/225/235.
A 235 deadlift and a 550 total would be PB's.

Not really Ed, we are just a bunch of powerlifter's and as everyone knows powerlifter's are a little strange!
