Strange, the 117.5 was comfortable but at 120 the dodgy right shoulder gave up.

The 200 was tough but there might be a little more there.

So a 485 total during a training session, not bad all things considered.
No plans to compete this year, a lack of training plus the osteoarthritis are not condusive to competitive lifting.

Wednesday 26th June.

First day back at the Farm in a while, just 6 lifters in tonight, apparently whilst i've been away some nights there have been 12-13 lifters in and some nights only 1.

Weighed in at 118.05kg, lighter than I was expecting but still heavier than i'd like.

Tonight and Friday will be about seeing how far I've sunk!

Probably could have squeezed out 115, all self-unracked. Benching much closer than normal, index fingers about 3 inches onto the knurling and pleased to report that the wrist pain is manageable.

Deadlifts Friday (aiming for 180'ish) and might go for that 115 bench.

Very warm at the Farm but still 10 lifters turning out.
Weighed in at 118.10kg.

Fairly raced through these, working with Forklift we rattled through our deadlift session in around 30 minutes. No real problems but the 190 was probably the limit.

Cheers Bill, I have to say it's bl**dy hard work and being 61 now does not help! But there is of course no alternative to putting the work in at the gym. The osteoarthritis in my wrist is literally a pain but other than that the time away has helped heal a few of the niggles.
