I used to think of the sky as 2 dimensional, like a ceiling, when in fact it's more like a giant fish tank above your head. A 60 odd mile deep fish tank, as wide and as long as you can see. You not only have an infinite number of angles to look upwards, but an infinite range of view along each angle. When you have views of infinity x infinity and don't to not see a cloud that is a cloudless sky. Having one of these on any given day is rare and special. Having one of these on a day of your choosing sends the odds to levels beyond rare and extra special. Today there were many clouds where I was, yet I was still able to consider a cloudless day. | ||
