Seriously though I really struggle with back squats. High bar doesn't seem to work well! I miss PL low bar stuff Unhappy I understood them!

Do you think you really have to do high bar squats? After all, it's just an assistance exercise to build strength. As long as you're still front squatting to keep the quad strength up, why not go low bar?

To be fair, I think your upper back could be set better and tighter. I like to pull elbows under and forward to try to keepthe torso angle mimicking the forearm angle.

To be honest Si I like doing them Happy they're not beautiful but they're better than they were and they're a good indicator if strength for me. Last summer I could barely do 150 for 1

I'm going to plod along with them and get to 200 soon enough. Then I might try belted for a bit (always very helpful to me) and see if that takes me higher. Meh! Like you say it's not that important but a good bit of training either way! Low bar would only be an ego massage.

They're not THAT bad and my actually oly lifts are decent enough. If I do 220 like the above ill be a happy camper Happy

Yeh at least the 7 i need on both lifts for 240. With rest, no cold etc I'm certain.
