slow 2000m row (approx 8mins)
then another 2000m done as 500m sprints with 500m recovery
haven't done cardio for a while

As a oxford boy there should be more rowing in here (Glad you called it an ergo-good man)
8 mins is a reasonable time if you aint done cardio in a while

Bryce - I only do cardio when I feel guilty about not doing enough of it! Not a big fan. I was never great at the ergo. Even when I did 1st boat rowing many years ago, my best 2k was only 6:45. Back then, I weighed 12 a bit stone and could knock out 1hr+ runs without breaking sweat.

Think your ergo pb is about the same as mine at about the same weight. So were you in the blue boat for oxford? Pretty impressive really if you were. I was with edinburgh and we got beat at the edinburgh/glasgow boat race every sodding year.
