i honestly dont think i could strict press more than 90kg, and thats on a good day ! i put 130 overhead but it was more than a push press , 70%

Haha, to be fair though that was done last March and there is definitely more in the tank and going to be prioritising strict press after Arnold's so looking forward to seeing what I can hit! Grin

there was a time many years ago when I trained military press heavy week in week out and managed 80kg. I was only benching 105-110kg at the time. Never done push presses or jerks with heavy weights so don't know what I'll manage but I don't think it'll be much over 80-90kg.

You're technique must be absolutely insanely good on your jerk mate! f**k! ALmost double your strict. You sure that is right?

Mine percentage is poor @ 90%

Strict Press 92kg
Push Press: 102kg

There are a few of us on here who have a problem re strict and push. So what is the solution to getting up your push press ?

Apart from practice practice practice. Involving more explosive movements in workouts.
plyometrics. Box jumps etc. That sort of crap. It does work. Thats how I got from a 92kg push press to a 102kg push press. Originally my push press was the same as my strict. Now that is piss poor technique as well though!
