Bit of an enforced lay-off due to the Strongman trip to Minehead, but what can you do???

Felling stiff, not moved for a week, this could hurt

Bar x loads
50 x2+1
50 x2+1
80 x2+1
100 x2+1
120 x2+1
130 x2+1 not particularly crisp, stay at this and just get some in
130 x2+1
130 x2+3 threw an extra couple of jerks in for the last set, why not!!

Clean Pull from Hang
160 x3
160 x3
160 x3
160 x3
160 x3

Rehab Press
50 x5
70 x5

Improvement continues, there was pain, but a little less than last time, weight was increased slightly too.

Good to be back, 8 weeks till the August Push and Pull, time to get stuck in!!!

Hi mate!

Really hope the shoulder improves for you!

What are the snatch balances you did a couple of sessions back?

Holding the bb OH with a snatch grip?

Cheers

Tom

Boar - Endurance has never been an issue my friend, and even with my advancing years there seems to be no end to my staying power. So much so, Mrs W usually ends our cardio sessions with the breathless words "My God, you're a beast.... i can't breath!!".... testament to my abilities, or reference to my portiliness???.... the answer my friend is up to you Wink

Joni - Back to normal next week for sure, build up for the August push and pull begins!!!!

Barbuda - Thanks for the wishes with the shoulder mate. Snatch Balance? Start upright with the bar across your back with a snatch grip then with a little dip and drive throw the bar upwards and drop into the full snatch position. Good for feeling positions and helps in getting you into dropping into bottom positions. I'm currently just staying with an empty bar as i'm doing them to coax the shoulder into shape, but nothing stopping you building the weight up if you wish. Excellent exercise.

Strong word on the street is that when training alone on days beginning with "T" in addition to what is reported in here, you also do very light, single arm, barbell farmer's walk, circa 20 pounds.

Would you care to comment.

I don't believe it personally, you're too good looking

I heard a similar thing too. I wrote it off at first as utter nonsense. Surely not???

Look, i'm sick and tired of this. I have a bad shoulder and i dont need the likes of you telling me what i should or shouldnt do!!! I dont want to discuss this any further. One hand farmers walk may or may not form part of my deloading rehab, in the dark, all alone, Tuesday and Thursday training, now just f**k off!!

Jeff, be careful what you say on the internet, it can come back to bite you in real life.
