You did more benching than that mate, the 2 sets of 5 I spotted you for at least.

I also spotted you in a japanese restaurant tonight, on my way back from another japanese restaurant Grin. That's 2 SBers I've found feasting after training, gotta catch 'em all...

alex, cheers for that! I mistyped and left out the 3x5xx115, they three fives is way more benching than just one triple Grin

jonny, i am actually just doing the push press for speed and technique work - and the log is where the PBs are nailed Grin Thats the plan anyway. I dont really have any hunger for nailing PBs on push presses, they are just an assistance exercise for log, viking press and axle press in the end of the day.

Strongman session at The Infamous Bolton Dungeon. Great session again.

Log
3x70
2x80
1x85
1x90
then failed several times on the clean of 95kg - never happened before, but somehow lost the plot with cleans. Missed one with 90kg as well, until:
2x90kg - nice to get a PB on a "s**t" log session.

farmers walks
40mx30
40mx100 - this is piss easy now
12m + turn x 120kg - just walked the farmers back after Olly dumping them in the middle of the road. Feels good to be confident with 120kgs now.

farmers holds
130kg for 29 secs - very hard pick up, holding no problem, there is plenty more there, though have to say i saw stars after the set Grin
150kg for 19.7 secs - help with the pick up, heavy.

Stones, 4.5 ft platform
1x105
1x130
fx140 - lifted it but was not even nearly high enough to load it
1x140kg - massive PB, lift of the day, still smiling Grin

This is the highest platform we have trained on, and its much harder. Loading 140kg stone on that badboy gives me a great boost for the fraserburgh comp!

We need more deload weeks like this Grin

It wasn't that long ago we were joking about pebbles being more suitable, but it looks that's a thing of the past!!

ok, today, went to the gym expecting nothing. Still bolloxed and run down from sunday, work boring me s**tless and decided against having caffeine in todays session.
