Cheers. It's already showing signs of improvement. I can now walk without a gimp limp, and only a few movements/positions hurt. I can almost to a straight-legged reach to the floor move, which I couldn't do the other day. I couldn't even lean over the sink to brush my teeth then!

I think it just needs some time to heal, and exams are the perfect excuse to not train heavy and let it heal.

I just hope it doesn't become an issue every time I train.

Back is feeling much, much, much better. Probably about 80% of where it was before the s**t hit the fan the other day.

I think I'll bench today. Probably with a flat back, no arch, BBer style.

Glad to hear things are better. Every time I get a twinge I fear the worst.

Feels decent, thanks.

Decided to up the homo (no homo) today and messed around with some bodybuilding stuff.

Skull Crushers:

20kg x 20
20kg x 20
30kg x 10
30kg x 10

Barbell Curls:

20kg x 20
20kg x 20
30kg x 10

CGBP:

30kg x 20
50kg x 10
60kg x 7

Bodybuilder Bench: (med grip, flared elbows, no arch, feet on bench, lats not pinched)

30kg x 20
50kg x 15
60kg x 7
60kg x 7
60kg x 7

Just messing around today, wanted to try some bbing out so I don't atrophy during exams. This was easy enough, though the benching was difficult towards the end as my triceps were knackered.

The first set of 60kg BBer benching f**king HURT my shoulders. Why do people do this? Anyway, I think I changed something a little for the next sets as it didn't hurt as much after that.

Nice BBage. What about doing floor pressing to save the back and or feet on the bench pressing? As you know now don't do an uber BB style. Just drop the exfessive arch. You still need to have your chest up and lower low.

Yeah, forgot to say, feet were on bench. I'm training at home, no spotter, dunno if I can do a worthwhile floor-press like that.

Thanks for the tips. I can't remember the last time I felt benching in my pecs, lol.

It's been passed yours for about a month now. Though my squat was in wraps, I was definitely good for 170kg raw. And wasn't your deadlift with straps?

+5kg x 3
BW x 7

Squats:

60kg x 10
60kg x 10
60kg x 10

CGBP:

60kg x 10
60kg x 10
60kg x 7

Deadlift:

60kg x 5
60kg x 5
100kg x 3 (sumo)
100kg x 3 (conventional)
100kg x 3
100kg x 3
100kg x 3

Triceps Cable Pushdowns:

60kg x 15
60kg x 15

EZ Bar Curls:

bar + 10kg plates x 15

Medicine Ball Slams: (1 minute rest)

10kg x 20
10kg x 20

Just eased into some light squats, keeping form tight and deep. Same with deadlift, though I started out doing speed pulls, then just focused on form. I also wanted to kill my triceps today.

Medicine balls kicked my arse!
