Another thought.

The side view will help, but I've got a feeling your upper back is rounding forwards. That can't be a strength issue, surely. A few cues that help me when I do this: elbows drive forward, arch as hard as possible, chest upright as possible. This rounding is different to forward lean.

Watch how Andy manges not to round here: http://youtu.be/be6dk8ZVO7E

Do you see what I'm getting at? Happy

Wink

In fact, judging on my percieved effort to reach depth (I really did aim for as low as I could get without stapling myself) I would be willing to say my recent one was a bit lower... you can tell depth EVEN LESS from that other video...

If you want to lift in your current stance I would say the best example of that technique in the IPF would be like this

No idea how to get there though Unhappy

By having shorter legs or/and a longer back I'd imagine. He doesn't end up leaning forwards nearly as much as I do....

There are basically rules which must be followed when squatting. Perhaps the most basic of all, is that the bar will always be directly over your heels. My 'proportions' mean that if I don't let my knees go forwards, errr...you figure the rest out...

I think you are over complicating things. Make the most of your strengths. Put the weight on your back and get the f**ker up that way if you have to.

I actually think your equipped squat looks fine. I wouldn't mess about with it too much apart from maybe sinking it a bit faster. Doing this with 300+kg presumably takes balls and the more you practise it (with vigilent spotters) the more depth you'll get.

Keep up the good work.
