Pleased with the squats. Have had a bit a psychlogical barrier squatting 170+ recently (god knows why - it's not exactly heavy!), but everyything felt nice and deep and snappy. Squatted in Oly shoes for the first time today. Liked it very much. Felt much more solid and the raised heel put me in a slightly better position Grin

Also pleased with these. The first set of 130s I had a spotter/hand out and I felt like nthere was a triple there. Much more difficult sans spotter though. Psychological??

First three sets were rather slow and stodgy, but the last two were snappier. Had to wait a bit for a fitty lass to finish squatting. I wasn't complaining.

trying to deadlift and squat each twice a week Neil. We'll see how my old and decrepit body stands up to that. I know today was a blip, but it's still bloody annoying!!
