Decided to try the Coan squat (thanks for pointing it out Millsy!) routine for DL. Numbers seem achievable, and of course there are only 2 work sets per week. Will give me plenty of time to do some accessory work (read: BB stuff for the summer!)

Bench
First up as someone was doing very light shrugs in the cage and then someone else got in and did curls. Again!!

60 x loads
100 x 3
110 x 3
120 x 2
130 x 2
137.5 x 1
140 x 1
100 x 8
100 x 8

Squats

bar x loads
60 x 5 (2 sets)
100 x 5
140 x 5
160 x 3
175 x 2
185 x 1
185 x 1 (heaviest squats done outside of a comp!)
175 x 2
175 x 2
Pretty much all of these were as a rough as a badger's arse. This was primarily due to having a tight back and hips today which meant I was more cautious in my descent than of late, with no pop out of the hole. Still, the bar went down and came back up again

Cheers Wayne, but 'solid' isn't going to cut the mustard really. I need 'spectacular' Grin Grin

130 x 5
140 x 3
150 x 2
160 x 2

Felt heavy on my back, but squatted no problem. Got the bar a wee bit lower than I have been and it felt better than it has for a while

Bench

3 x 2 at 135. Felt OK

CGBP
3 x 5 at 85

Pushdowns
3 x 8 at 40

EDIT: I managed to squat less weight this afternoon than Cleegy pressed. I SHALL use this as inspiration and NOT get depressed about my lack of strengthWink Grin
