Early dart, early start, arrived at a very very cold Adders

Lots of warming up, lots of sets with the bar

Power snatch from hang
50 x3 x3
70 x3
90 x3

95 x3 best set of the night, enjoyed these
There was a failure with 90 in there somewhere, not fixed overhead properly lowered a tad early

Knees and wrist really tender tonight, cold weather doesn't agree with my joints

Front Squat
Not done these for a while due to the bad wrist, hopefully the new narrower hand spacing will help.
70 x3 x5 wrist really sore
115 x3 wrist still bad
135 x3 still sore
145 x3
145 x3
150 x3
Wrist was painful throughout but bearable, treat tonight as a starting point

T-Bar row 5x8
Pulldown 3x8
Db side raise 3x8
Db front raise 3x10
Db bent over laterals 3x10

Started off cold ended up steaming, good night!!!Grin

Cheers Joni, first night back on them so fairly pleased. You did see right, no knee wraps, i never wrap my knees for fronties they would stop me getting right down to the bottom position, knee sleeves are ok though

130 x2+F oh dear, do i get my coat???
LittleA has a word "what are you doing dropping the reps or going for a 140x3 pb?" The words have been said so now bottling out for the night isn't an option!!!

135 x3 not text book but all went up
140 x3 best set, pleased with these

Lesson for the night, what could easily be a crappy session can be turned around if you have a training partner who knows what they're doing and what buttons to press, rave on!!!

The 200's were a bit slower than i would've liked but hey!?!!?

And that's that, no time for anything else have to rush off home for fatherly and husbandly duties.

Don't think i'll be in attendance on Friday unfortunately Rick, due to childcare issues etc!!!

If i remeber rightly you had a moderate session on your clean and push press last week so should be thinking of upping it a bit this week, perhaps a cheeky single or two see how they go and finish off with the 3x3 fron hang again

I actually went up to a difficult equal-PB on Friday (you correctly remember the last time I saw you on c+p day, which was the week before), and then did 3s from the hang Happy... do I stay moderate this week, then?

Of course if Andy's there I'll just do as he tells me Happy.
