Solid session man, impressive benching, and good work on stones/loading too. Glad you're happy with the bar - I'm sure there'll be many tales of ripped hands and shins (but also PB's Happy)

Your bro is a strong mofo too - he should definitely nail 1st timers comp and/or some PL comps next year!

How original thing! Never heard that one at school. Especially since I generally look older than I am.

cheers brian. Tried to convince him before. Hes lucky we both started lifting about the same time start of the year so hes got a 2 year head start on me the c**t.

Squat :
  1. 60kg x lots x lots
  2. 100kg x 5
  3. 100kg x 1

Deadlift :
  1. warmup

  3. 150kg x 1 (Back thinks no)
  4. 170kg x 1 (Back says no)



Comments : Adopted a more olly style squat thanks Littler. Allowed knees to track over the toes a bit more. Sat down into the squat rather than back into it. Highish bar position. Felt good, seems to suit my body type better. Back decided it didnt want to deadlift so I didnt force it, even though it was first time with my new bar. Few torn hands but nothing major!

Comments : Very happy with these squats. Feel more natural. Had to clean the bar to shoulder for push presses as there was no rack to press from. Can only be a good thing really.

Comments : Deadlifts felt s**t. Dont know whats wrong. So switched to speed deads so that all was not lost. 80kg was probably a bit too easy/fast but stuck with it anyway. First time doing good mornings and they felt okay. Changed the style of barbell row I'm doing and they also went okay. Hammer curls for the guns at the end.

Comments : Benching felt good, was training alone though so didnt want to over do it or I might still be out there under the bar. Push Presses went okay, need to get used to them more as I don't seem to be getting optimum leg drive into them. Dips started strongly haha and fell away and finished off with a wee bit of KB work to loosen off.

Comments : Deadlifts felt okay. Was happy to deadlift the 200 on my texas power bar, hands werent though, lost some skin. Pullups where done with less rest than usual. Still getting used to GM's and the barbell rows.
