Well lifted Ian. Yeah the bench was disappointing. On the 185 squat, on facebook it looked like you'd done the hard work and had it, but it was not to be.

Weighed in at 109.4Kg. 11 lifters at the Farm tonight so fairly busy!
The day after a competition is usually a rest day but I felt like beasting my shoulders for taking the day off yesterday.

Little more than stretching really.

Another busy night at the Farm, 12 lifters in tonight, 8 boys and 4 girls. Weighed in at 109.85Kg (and that was after a large breakfast & lunch).

Happy with this, it felt like a good workout.

Friday 30th January.

A bit of a rushed/shortened session tonight, busy with work and had to be taxi for the wife tonight! Weighed in at 109.65Kg.

Squat.

The 145's felt awful and I was so close to leaving it there, however as the weight went up the lifts felt easier, I think i'm still suffering after last weekends competition.

Monday 2nd February.

Very busy at the Farm today, around 18 lifters! Weighed in at 110.35kg.

Deadlifts.

2 x 180.
2 x 170.
5 x 155.
Tough session but no real problems.

Bench.

2 x 8 x 80 Close grip.

Farm lIft of the month for February is the front squat. Stewart went up to 120 so I did 125, Stewart went back later and did 131 so I added the biscuits and did 133.5.

Wednesday 4th Feb.
Very busy at the Farm tonight, even got 4 ladies partaking today. Frank was in attendance and Sean was making another comeback! Sadly no Horny though, I think we must have broken him! Does anyone remember that tall accountant bloke who used to lift? Cant think what his name was now, he's not attended this year, nor has big Dave come to think of it. Weighed in at 109.35kg and that was after a large lunch at the 2for£12 place. I'm wasting away.

Strange! The above is in chronological order, I found the front squats really difficult tonight, so much so that I added an extra couple (111 & 121), then when I got back onto the back squats they were unbelievably tough and I eventually cut the last sets (160 & 167.5). Not good.

Another session cut short as I ran out of time, even so I am really pleased with the 115 as I had to push the right shoulder through it's usual sticking point and ground it out!

Good lifting Ian fingers crossed after a hectic January I will be back twice a month that's my aim! I miss the farm that's a large reason my strength has dropped loads training alone in the garage although that being said malc is making it work so consistency is probably key.

Business kept me on the road for most of yesterday so I called into a random commercial gym. Oh dear...

Leg Press.
Sets of 10 from squat depth.
Every weight up to the maximum of 200, not sure how much this actually weighed but certainly not 200Kg.

Bench.

Strict Press.
