Attempts: 190 200x 200x Very annoyed about this since I got 200 after a 190 triple last week. Squatting in front of a mirror threw me as I kept looking at myself in the bottom position which destroyed my concentration! ah well Bench Warmups with 20,60,80,100,110 Attempts: 120 125x 125 Failed the 125 because my ass and foot came up. All attempts felt comfy - probably would have had 130 in me which would've matched my tng PB if not for the technical issues. Ah well, who cares about bench right? Deadlift Warmed up with 160,180,200,215 Attempts: 230 242.5 252.5 x 242.5 felt okay - probably faster than my previous 240 was. Didn't really have a proper go at 252.5 as I was tired by this point and my hand was slippy. It'll go soon Jack so watch out!! All in all not a brilliant days lifting but I had fun and that's what counts! | ||

Definitely helped with leg drive, and keeping my bum and feet down though it felt weird. 125 was a peach dunno what happened on 132.5 just wasn't going anywhere. With practice I think the new set up will allow bigger numbers though One arm Dumbbell FTOH - 50x5 Left arm, 50xF right arm lol Dumbell incline, barbell incline, pullups, shoulder prehab bla bla bla | ||

Started off with a weightlifting seminar, where we learned positions technique etc for a couple of hours. Was good, I think it helped. SNATCH: Warmed up from 30, to 75 for about five singles, as I really wanted to make sure. These were good: full extension, catching them at the bottom, and standing up easily. Onto the meat and potatoes of it... 80kg GOOD LIFT Panicked and power snatched it lol 85kg GOOD LIFT Power snatch again 90kg GOOD LIFT Pretty much resigned to powering this, and I did. Easy though, felt like more there CLEAN AND JERK Warm ups for 100 for a few. Didn't feel great, possibly didn't warm up enough, possibly just not my day for them... 105kg GOOD LIFT Power cleaned by accident. Kind of annoyed me! 112.5kg GOOD LIFT Terrible though.. Caught it badly about half way down and had to fight a bit to keep it in position. Was in the total wrong place in my hands for jerking. Apparently I almost pressed out but it was okay. 120kg FAIL I knew this was a biggish jump, but I felt like the 112.5 was just a technical error so I though f**k it I'll stick to the plan. Missed the clean. Apparently pull was good, and i got under well - I just didn't get my elbows through in time. SO 202.5kg total, goals was 200 so I'm happy!! Roll on 100/125 or so! | ||
