Clean & press - 1x4x40, 1x1x60, 1x1x70, 1x1x80, 1x1x90, 1x1x100, 1x1x90

Missed the clean on the 100 about a thousand times, switched to continental (first time doing these) and finally got it on the second attempt. Press didn't feel all too hard.

Front squat - 1x8x80, 3x8x100

Incline bench - 1x8x50, 1x6x60, 1x8x75, 1x7x75, 1x6x70

Dumbbell shrugs (no straps, no chalk) - 1x12x100, 1x8x100, 1x6x100

Neutral grip pullups - 2x8x95

Imitiation stone lifts - 3x100, 3x3x80

Abs - 3x12xsomething

Took almost 2 hours - doesn't look like that much now i've written it down!

Switched to continentals for 90&110, missed the clean on the first 110, just missed lockout on the second two attempts.

Incline bench - 3x8x55

Neutral grip chins - 4x6x95

dips - 4x10x95
curls - 4x10x27

So I did the Zeus gym novice strongman today. Every event went smoothly, still only came 15th out of 16 though!

80kg log - went pretty well, got 9 reps, and just ran out of steam.

85kg Farmers - grip was fine, just really wobbly on my feet. Got to the end but in a slow time.

180kg deadlift for reps - 9 reps, really happy with this, as i was only expecting about 5! still one of the lowest scores though :/

220kg Conan's - I worried about this one but it went okay, got two and a bit revolutions. Same problem as with farmer's - need to work on footwork.

Barrel and stone loading - All went smoothly including the fifth and final 120kg stone. Didn't really fumble anything but everyone else was so fast!


Happy with my performance if not my result! I reckon if I work on repping out weights and on my footwork it'll help an awful lot for next time even if I can't do any event training!

Still really sore from sunday so I just did bench

Bench - 2x5x60, 1x1x80, 1x1x100, 1x1x110, 1x1x130 - MISS, 5x2x100

Incline dumbbell bench - 1x9x80, 1x6x80

Bicep supersets

Triceps

I'm sure I've got the strength to bench 130, just my form breaks down at the bottom. Will have to work on really keeping tight

Second deadlift pb in two weeks. Can't complain. Big jumps in the warm ups are definitely the way to go.

unracked 190 to go for a PB but decided it wasn't gonna happen tried to do some front squats but my hips really hurt. Had no energy so I decided to just call it a day.

Shouldn't have tried to go in so early, and should have had some carbs for breakfast :/

No straps or chalk on the deadlifts

Hack Lunges - 2x5x130, 2x5x80
Leg raises - 3x8, 1x7

Should have done 5x5 on the hack lunges, but seriously overestimated the weight. I'll do 5x5x90 next time.

Rackpulls - 1x5x110, 2x5x132.5, 2x4x155, 4x3x175
Overhead extensions - 5x8x40

Rack pulls from the knee

Decided I'm gonna try and do my sessions as three (brutal) supersets to save time.
So so hard! i was dripping sweat and panting between sets, and it didn't even reduce the session time that much! gonna keep at it for a while and see how it goes. If nothing else my conditioning'll improve by miles...

Switched to fronties as my shoulders were hurting

Bit heavy on the GMs: form started to break down, but it was my first time doing them
