Not going my way today so I sacked it off. I'll see how things go on saturday and if it's another s**t session I'll probably back off for a little while before switching to a high volume cycle

bar was drifting away from me on the heavier sets. Not sire why but I think its a strength thing, as my technique was perfect with lighter weights.

Bench press - 1*5*60, 1*3*80, 1*1*100, 1*1*120, 1*1*130pb, 1*f*135

bench felt weird to start with and I almost sacked it off entirely. Was the easiest pb I've ever done - I think ill get 135 next time I try, and 140 by the end of the year.

Close grip - 1*8*100pb, 1*4*100

Sl rackpulls over knees - 1*3*100, 1*1*140, 1*f*180, 3*4*160

Incline bench - 1*4*92pb

Ghr - 1*7*bw, 1*4*bw

Worked up to a 130 frontie, did an 80kg strict press, incline dumbbells 46sx4 and then did a bit of abs.

Not even worth recording the session properly

My New Routine:

Monday - Squat, slingshot bench, front squat, incline dumbbell*, GMs

Thursday - Deadlift, Slingshot bench, SL rackpull, incline dumbbell*, Rows

Sat - Squat, Slingshot bench, front squat, incline dumbbell*, GHR/ham curls

*this will change to strict press when I hit 3-4 reps with 50s

I'm going to follow (very loosely) a sheiko like rep scheme for squats and deadlifts and stick to my simply, linear approach to benching.

Finally got my deadlift sorted. Felt MUCH better off the floor than it has done in the past. Onwards and upwards!

4 board bench - 1x140, 1x160, 1x170

bench press - 1x110 - left it here as I felt had no power

Machine rows

Dumbbell press - 60x10, 60x6, 60x5, 48x10

Leg extensions - up to 110x8
