Warmed up alot as my shoulders were tight

55 2x1

65x2,fail fail
65x 2 fails
65x3 (not bad)
Was gonna do 70 but my elbow was hurting abit

Squats
65x6
90x5
120x5
140x3
160x3
These were fairly hard so I thought I'd do abit of volume with 180 which ended up being 30 minutes of doubles
180 12x2

Done, then I did some events but we were all tired and hurting so I went upto 88 for an easy single on 1 arm dumbbell then did some vertical jumps and called it a day.

Last event session before Harwood comp, unfortunately my elbow is a little bit f**ked so there wasn't much I could do

Warmed up

Couple of tries with axle but it was hurting elbow.

Log I could clean this without any pain so just did some strict reps
All 1 clean
65x10, x5
85x10
105x8 (wanted ten but it's still a rep PB)

And that's about it.

No weightlifting as I didn want to hurt my elbow again before comp.

150x2 2nd hit safer pins again but I managed to get it up

Done, wore some new trainers today that kept me more upright on squats which is good.

I know the pain of high rep squats with the weights I used to lift. I can only imagine how hideous it must feel with the bar loaded to what you lift. When you go for that video it. It'll be mental.

It will definitely be video'd! I have a lifetime goal of beating mr Platz's 23 reps with 500lbs so 4 plates will be a painful stepping stone.

Last little session before Harwood comp

Warmed up with running

Log

85x5, 3 one motions and 2 strict
105x3 strict
130x1 failed 2nd (both strict, 1st one was easy 2nd one should have gone)
120x5 (clean each rep, I had a go at power jerking these and it felt great, can't wait for the comp!

Bit of running then home, gonna rest up till Monday now.
