Carl and phil leading the way!Happy

going out tomorrow night so i deadlifted tonight instead

deadlift 150x3 160x3 160x3
front squat 120x2 pb 115x2 100x3

could'nt get my head into it tonight ,obviously not used to training on a tuesday night the deadlifts were slow and s**t,and i made hard work of the fronties although
the 120x2 is a pb it should have been easier given how they've been going, was going to do powercleans as well but it started pissing down with rain and i could'nt find the motivation

Well yiu had one nice week weather wise what ya moaning about!

Yes there are a few chineese places for all you can eat. I'll look into it!

back squat 150x3/3/3 140x3 130x3 120x3 110x3 100x3

power cleans from hang 60x3 70x3 80x3 60x3 60x3

sit ups 10kx10 15kx10/10

good mornings barx20 30kx20

struggled for depth today , on the top sets only the first rep was in,recentlyIve felt like my squat form has improved but today it was very sloppy and all over the place ,i think i am trying to go too heavy too soon ,probably going to work at 140k for a few weeks with some drop down sets to nail technique .

Well done on the front squats PB. I think depth was fine.

How is your back now?

Thanks Tann, back is probably 95% there which is probably as good as it's ever going to be still very stiff in the mornings but no real pain from squatting and deadlifting .

Just been catching up with your log Ed, sounds like the weekend away went well.Happy Happy Happy
Nice Front squats.
Keep working on deadlift technique and don't worry too much about the weights at the moment, best not to aggrivate the back again.

got home from work at 7.45 helped the wife finish crobaring the kids into bed scoffed a bowl of oats and walked out to start training at 8.40 felt like s**t and started warming up lifting like a lethargic sloth, half way through my warm up I remembered my new ipod which the wife got me for my birthday so nipped inside to get it,put it on randomly and the first album that came up was ac/dc back in black cranked the volume to 11 and started my first working set just as the first chords of hells bells were starting ,95k 5 reps bang piece of piss could have done 8 or more finished the last set to the live version of highway to hell and could have got 8 on that as well. This evening was one of those precious sessions where you start off demotivated and expecting it to be all s**t and you finish off smiling and sporting a semi on! Happy days!

training:

cubans 3x20
scap rows 3x20
bench press 95k 5/5/5
close grip 85k 5/5/5
