This system I'm using is definitely doing good things for me, tough as it is to get through every day! High bar squat nudged further forwards, pressing feeling strong. As an interesting aside, 125kg clean and jerk is a lifetime PB. I may have power cleaned more in my former guise, and I have recently jerked more from racks, but a 125kg clean and jerk is an all time best lift for me. Motivated, confident and working hard!

Snatches were a bit scrappy and no way was any more going to go. The warm ups for front squats were horrific, so so hard! I am absolutely astonished I was able to get 5 with the top set. Squat is still moving forward daily, just being a big brave boy and pushing through is yielding the results I want. In hindsight considering how much my snatch at higher percentages is improving I don't even mind that I wasn't able to hit anything heavy today. Keep going, just keep going! Next session, 16 hours after this one...

Squats up again. University sports fair today so the only option was to lift early, so not enough sleep or food. Still, plowing on regardless!

That was hard. Squat and bench both nudged forward. That was session 9 in 11 days, pushing the top set of squats every single time, really working, same for pressing. I do need to put a bit more graft into the WL first though instead of trying to push on to top numbers every time though.

Lots of really nice snatch work, but missing a few reps on the front squat and push press top sets. Got my deadlift reps through pure stubbornness. This may either be down to doing some extra snatch work first, or that I've been pushing the daily maxes closer to true maxes, which is NOT the objective of this system. Either way I hit a wall today. Now I'm working closer to my top end I may need to be a bit more selective with my weight choices on a daily basis. We shall see.

my buttocks hurt Member 337, 2119 posts SQ 300, BP 140, DL 305745.0 kgs @ 125kgs Eq | That's a lot of volume and frequency! I've recently discovered the joy of the daily squat; however, my daily joy rarely includes many reps or, indeed, much intensity or...much else if I'm honest. Your version looks an awful lot like hard work. How are your joints feeling?

Your version looks an awful lot like hard work. How are your joints feeling? It looks a lot of volume, but WL aside it's just a heavy warm up set and a heavy set on each lift really. The frequency though is killer, but that's where I'm trying to force the adaptation. Now I have 'broken it in' with a fortnight of pushing amd pushing the top end I will be less aggressive with my top sets and working to what is best for the day, rather than trying to kick my way through the top limit wall on a daily basis. Very happy with how it's going! Joints are feeling remarkably good actually, just an all pervading tiredness and tightness, so am trying to manage this as best I can with sleep, food and soft tissue work. Really enjoying it!
