25th February, Deadlift, Adlington

Power Clean
20 x 5 x 5
40 x 3dl,3pc
50 x 3dl,3pc
60 x 3
70 x 3
75 x 3 PB
80 x 3 PB
85 x 1 PB
87.5 x 1 PB
90 x 1 PB

Pleased with that, Andy reckons I have enough of a pull to power clean 110 if I can get my arms and dip going quicker.

Some pointers to remember, big breath at the start and relax arms (thanks Andy), keep chest more solid when catching and take the lighter weights to the floor instead of dropping them (Alan).

Deadlift
90 x 3
130 x 3
150 x 1
170 x 1
190 x 1

Smooth, easy pull. Wanted to go heavier but the Classic is on Saturday.

Sumo Deadlift
50 x 5
70 x 5
90 x 5 x 3

Row
50 x 5
60 x 5
65 x 5
70 x 5
72.5 x 5

Ab Pulldowns
12.5 x 10
15 x 10 x 2

A few hangs on pull up bar, bit of stretching and home!

90kg Power Clean

190kg Deadlift

You made that deadlift look like a piece of piss. Make sure you give it some welly for the classic, you ought to go for that 210 mate imo.

And look at your PCs too!!! I'm half glad you didn't take the bet now! Happy

Cant see the vids at work but good stuff!

Thanks for putting in the tip about 'relaxing the arms', I know this, yet I always f**king forget it. I remember when Callard told me to think of the arms as hooks that attach you to the bar, nothing more.

Cheers for the reminder and good lifting!
