I can warm-up with power jerks but when it gets heavy I just end up push pressing for some reason. Trying some splits might be a good idea to force me to do it. Either way I think I need to spend more time just working the technique and not chasing the weights so quickly. Fortunately I now have that luxury as the race is over Masterplan Update February - Bodyweight Overhead Nailed! April - 210 Deadlift May - 115 Bench June - 100 Overhead August - 215 Deadlift September - 100 Floor to Overhead October - 120 Bench November - 220 Deadlift December - 185 Squat | ||

I'm not planning on any massive bodyweight gains either, a couple of kilos at most, so 220 by November would still be good going. It's only 8-9 months away now!
