Nice squating mate, whats the plan for squats now? You look like you have more in you, but like vegan said form went out the window a bit on the higher sets.

Cheers guys.

Probably just back it off a little but keep it heavy much like I have been. 160 in 3 weeks or so maybe!

I can't remember much about the 155 (just that I was pleased to get it up mainly!) but I think my knees were coming in a bit. Still, not too concerned as it was pretty much a max.

You're never going to get perfect form going for a PB, but at the same time you don't want to get into the habit were by you're form is at the stage were it stops you from getting a max, even if you had the strength.

Yea good point mate - I think I'll get better at them as time goes by. That's the first time I've ever had a hard 1RM on squats so it was kind of a new feeling.

Your video will be up shortly. I'll add it now but it might take Youtube 10 minutes to approve it.

You might benefit from wearing Olly's belt, it would keep you more upright in the bottom position which i think is the main problem with your squat. Also, having a day were you work on light squats for form would probably help. Maybe do them after your front squats on Wednesday.

Anyway i wouldn't worry about that now, you've passed another big milestone with 150kg, congrats. And thanks for doing the video.

Nice one on the 100kg bench mate. The 95 looked dead easy - should be looking at more PBs very soon.

Very hard session. Had to rerack one set of the FSs after taking it out because my head was spinning everywhere.

Deadlifts were hard work at lock out tonight. Video available so input on form appreciated - I know it needs it. In my defense 5 singles with a PB isn't going to be pretty though.

On fixing your form -

The shooting hips and the rounding back are linked. You have to concentrate on squeezing the quads at the outset, so that you're really initiating the movement with your legs. Think of the drive out of the hole in a front squat - that's what you need to be doing with your quads at the beginning of the deadlift.

5 singles with a new PB can't be bad though.

Good work on the dead PB man. If you can make 5 singles at it, regardless of form, you should nail that 200 now!

Mate, I have photos of you looking like a beggar. And I'm good with photoshop. You should be careful what you say!

Cheers for the input guys, will endeavour to put it into practice.
