Was contemplating not even bothering tonight as I wasn't in the mood, ended up being a really good session though.

Very pleased with the 120 off the boards - it was a piece of piss and I was extremely tempted to try doubling it.

Just the session I needed after Sunday.

That 200kg deadlift also coincides with my 1000lbs total, so I have to think of some new goals now. Very happy to get it - I was never going to miss it once I started lifting the bar; I don't think I've ever wanted a lift that bad.

Looking good with the deadlifts - lockout still looks like a bit of a struggle (?) but very easy indeed off the floor. I really need to get some progress going again on these! Was pleasantly surprised with first workout back with them after a while yesterday.

BTW, have you weighed yourself again lately??

Awesome Robert! Couple of big milestones broken! It went up passed your knees very quickly i reckon if you attack some rack pulls your deadlift will rocket! You also look like a bloody big lad now.

Nice work Rob!!

I agree with the others in that it flies off the floor and really slows at lockout. Maybe some rack lockouts from the knee are in order??

Cheers guys, looks like lots of rack work is on the cards. Olly's routine should be just the recipe.

JT - not weighed myself for a while, might do tomorrow.

Easy enough tonight. Made a pigs meal of the first double on bench, got the second one though so a double 2.5k below my PB is something to take away. Still hoping for 105 on Tuesday.

Good to see Tricky Ricky in the gym today - who actually walked right past me when I was benching because he didn't recognise me. I'm "a changed man" apparently!!

Snatch grip RDLs tough but good work. Need to work on those shrugs to get the hips into them more - good range of motion at the top though.

Groin seemed fine through the box squatting (done above parallel because of this) but the true test will be how it feels tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Eating a lot, pulling 200 and totalling 1000 will do that Happy.

I completely and genuinely didn't recognise you. I was about to ask you if I could work in on bench with you when I suddenly twigged who you were. You've grown. (And not just the "beard".)

GOOD LUCK WITH THE BENCH!

May 105kg fall like an oak century old in a gusty wind built up by generations of anger and sorrow.

Better yet, I had a nice bottle of Yop! at Asda. The protein in these puppies is serious stuff!!

I will take Sugden TV with me to the gym, if it's only Olly and myself though I may not end up taking any videos. Hopefully someone else will turn up.

Great to get that PB on the bench - it was a tough rep but definitely not an all out max. The Russian routine has delivered 5k in 6 weeks so I'm pretty happy with that.

120 on the boards was a joke again, I just made a mess of the 125. Never mind. Pushed it quite hard on the boards after that, *just* missed the 10th rep on the first set.

Light week commences as of tomorrow. No videos of tonight sadly.
