Great work JSL.

About deM wheels, you could just use a 25mm bar with a big washer either side of the wheel? The spin lock would work.

You could make a wooden or plastic interference fit insert for the wheel? With a 26mm hole in it.

cheers chaps ! x

ski erg PB's are there for the taking ! Pity they are difficult for BoarVision to film !

as for the wheels , I am looking at buying a bar that fits (ie 40mm bar) If this doesnt work i will use a standard bar and 'clamp' the wheels each side with a couple of 1kg plates or similar , a spin lock would be pretty sweet !! i wont be throwing it around - mainly shoulder presses and squats

Oh, and Johngym - I guy i told about hyrox has sighned up and this dude is a beast ... i have never seen a guy move so fast , he is a galloping horse , excellent !

Thanks for 'subscribing' to me on YouTube. I'm not tech savvy enough to even know what that means Happy

Happy Happy Happy

For anyone who doesn't know what's going on, I was filming with my other hand!

Can't get near that level of strength now, although I did do 50kg a few months ago.

I'm not planning to upload too many vids, but we'll see. I actually had a tidy up some time ago and deleted a load.

Hope you're doing OK Mr Boar xxx

not too bad thx Wayne xxx

Rower

  • 10 minute warm up - 2354
  • 2km - 7:32 (zwift race)
  • 10minute cool down - 2327

the first 45 seconds of the 2km were me waiting to start the race so it wasnt full pelt - the 2km was probably done at around 7:20 (1:49) pace

Splendid video. Your technical wizardry always impresses me, but I have to say I am a bit disappointed that it isn't a boat being rowed along the road.

lightweight PB

I have entered this on the 21st Nov merely as a warm up for the British 2 weeks later .... there is a limited amount of speed/fitness i can gain in the time i have , but I believe by the 5th Dec i will be in Sub7 shape.

The chances are that there wont be more than 3 in my age group ....so another podium spot goes on my CV Grin

Fairly handy as i was/am planning a 2km 'test' every 2 weeks

just had my first dose of creatine ....I feel so powerfull

Nice 10k pb Boar, a full month training will see you sub 7! Have you noticed a difference from Creatine in the past? I tried it for a bit when I was doing SBD and never noticed a difference.
