Monday (Adders)

Deadlifts

60kg reps x 2 sets
140kg x rep
180-ish kg x 3-5 reps
230kg x 3 easy reps
275kg x 2 easy reps missed 3rd due to losing tec and didn't want to spew on the platform. LOL
230kg x 5 real easy reps, first one slow the rest alot easier and quicker.

Front Squat
60kg
100kg 2 sets 3 reps ?

Decide to try Cleans
60kg quite a few sets of 3 reps
80kg few more
100kg few
120
130kg think 3 sets of 3 reps

stopped there as slight tight back. No point risking it.

Hamstring Curls
2 sets 8 rep Full Stack

Chin Up's
3 sets 10 8 10reps

Think the main bit with the Deadlifts is being in the right frame of mind for me. Haven't said yet but on Sunday morning i hit 380kg Deadlift for 10 easy easy reps, Made up to f**k. Until i woke up. f**king bas***d it was like one of them dreams where you think you got money. Angry

Pulling like a different lifter mate, and I didnt expect anything less with those cleans mate. The basics come naturally and only needs a bit of fine tuning over the next couple of months before you really start shifting.

Early one and Wet one today.

(Tue) Titian's Gym

IFSA Log (in rain & on my bill)
85kg few reps (easy but really putting in s**t % of legs. Something i really need to address)
115kg Few easy reps (as usual legs coming into play more and weight increases)

PB 145kg Only a single (one s**t miss (due to Legs) and a very very easy single, even then still not using legs enough)

PB 165kg Goodish Clean and very hard rep as it took two miss's and then got it on the 3rd. (again no-where near enough legs.)

Inside

Leg Press
5-6 sets upto 400kg or something for few reps

Cable Rows few good sets and 2 s**t sets on Lat Pull downs.


Got asked last night to partner Mick Townley (in place for Mr Felix) for a upcoming Team Comp in Ireland on the 28th Sep. Looking forward to it and put on a good showing again.

Think events are

Log Medley - 120kg - 150kg
Frame Carry for Distance (each team member for max then added distance)
Stones 120kg -180kg ?
Tyre and Carry Medley ?
Car Deadlift (max reps added to together or time for two ?)

Great that you are doing that comp. Mick T is a great guy and a good strongman. Those events will suit you two well, it will be interesting to hear what kind of distance you put on the frame Grin

Just be told the Comp is now cancelled due to sponsors pulling out. Think Joni is behind it (as i not meant to be doing any comps this year) lol

Oh well - AT least i've got the two Adder's Comp's and Poss the Whey HQ Power meet 20th Dec.
Be good if some of the sudgen lads could make it.
