I did the base cycle last year and that was hard enough.. I was off uni and basically squatting, eating and recovering. I'm impressed that you're managing it whilst working and doing another job. Happy

I've not got through it yet mate but my trick is litres of chocolate milk haha and plenty of foam rolling.

Been away for weekend so squatted straight after a 2 hour drive everything felt a bit stiff on warmups but after 3rd set of 180 started to loosen up and they started to get easier as I went on, no real trouble yet. 2 weeks down 1 to go on the base meso cycle boooooomm!!!!!

Final week of smolov base cycle and the weight is still feeling good confident that I'm gonna get through it in one piece however I've developed a slight cold so not being able to breathe properly nearly made me sick after my last set of 9.

Nice bench session bench is ticking along very nicely without giving it too much attention lately happy to be slowly creeping forward all reps today were done with no spot so had to unrack myself etc.

2 days of smolov base cycle to go and still no failure or no real grindy reps so all good. Energy was a bit low today after being up since 445 again for work but happy with how these reps felt.
