155xfail closest I've been to this with competition pause left arm was locked out and finished just couldn't push my right arm through to lockout.

Speed paused bench

120x3 for 3 sets some speedy some not that's why only did 3 sets and not 5.

Bodyweight dips

5 set of 10 with 30 secs recovery

Strongest my bench as felt in 2014 setup felt perfect on each single 150 and even 152.5 is there but I want a bit more. Good atmosphere in the gym aswell as Tom Collins and Shez prepare for world masters bench with Tom doing a 185kg pb in a slingshot at 68 years old and 105kg bodyweight. The mans a beast.

210xfail again, this is getting closer each week I fly out of the bottom but then it starts to push me forward I just need to focus on keeping my chest up and it will go easy.

Pause squats

The pause squats are really helping me keep my chest high and push through my legs this is why they are so close to my actual squats I just need to transfer this technique with a faster decent then boom 220+.

Unlucky on the 210 mate. May try hit some more rep PBs and then come back to it. 200 for a double should secure the 210.

Yeah maybe reason why I keep going for it is it feels so close like there is a inch sticking point that I need to drive through. I know its there I've hit 200x2 before and I'm hitting it for a single every week after a rep session so I know 210+ is there just need to get my head in gear and stop being a pussy.

Nice bench session tonight there was more than 3 at 137.5 and the 150 paused single shot up like nothing very happy.

Nice to see you back on here comrade!!! Yeah training has took a step up this year mate had a taste of international competition last year an I wanna get to Finland next year mate. Doing the yorkshire and north east seniors on April 5th mate.

150x1+3/4 ( first rep flew up, took a breath and lost a bit of tension in my upper back, should have hit both reps in one breath)

125x9+1/2 (touch and go ) f**k sake its the night of almost, was so close to smashing this for 10 just ran out of steam. Still some kind of pb though.

Dips

Bw x 40 reps to failure

Olympic bar curls

Bar x 38 reps to failure

Pumped as a motherf**ker. Not a bad session considering how tired I feel, gradually starting to enjoy bench again.

Nice session didn't have much energy as really tired due to lack of sleep so kept the session short all done in 45 mins. Happy with the double at 220 deficit the second rep was hard as f**k but was a nice clean pull.
