Another strong squatting session 185x5 beats my previous best of 182.5 and then pleased to still be able to double 200 after the rep work. Not done singles high bar for a while so was pleased with 180 form was a bit scrappy.

Decent session all reps on bench felt explosive and strong. Fell back in love with overhead press gonna work up in 3's adding 2.5kg per week until I get stuck.

Excellent session tonight m8 everybody buzzing
All working hard and encouraging each other shezz's 210 was very good I thought
On to Sunday singles day. I suppose I'll get another bollocking from Phil for dropping the bar again lol lol

Went to watch britains strongest man yesterday so didn't really have many calories and been sat down all day didn't really help with today squats. Felt very tight and not much energy this morning so no suprises when everything felt heavy. Glad to hit singles at 200 though could have done them all day without much difficulty.

I like this about powerlifters. Capable of great feats of strength but sit us in the same position for more than 1 hour all sorts starts going wrong.

Nice to see you getting really comfortable with 200. Opener for donny do we think?

I'm hitting it weekly for doubles and singles mate so later this year it will probably become my opener but for this next comp gonna open conservative I've got a game plan which involves a big pb total and maybe a sneaky record along the way.

An yeah my body feels f**ked from doing absolutely jack s**t all day yesterday. Haha.

After this I then decided that my squats felt s**t yesterday so had 15mins to work on my explosivness I am a f**king idiot this is how it went.

These were all done with 30 secs to 1 min rest in between haha.

This was pure craziness on my part all these squats were done without knee sleeves and with less than a minute rest in between so if anyone says that knee sleeves give u extra poundage on ur squat tell them to f**k off.

20kg dumbells x 5 for 5 sets

Dumbell hammer curls

7.5kg dumbells x 10 for 5 sets

Happy with how my Sumo is progressing form didn't feel great but a 1rm is never gonna look textbook. It went up clean so that will do for me.

Well happy with todays session last rep session before my next comp so wanted to push it. 180 felt like a feather on my back and the first 5 reps were fast and smooth.
Enjoyed the high bar work really focussing on keeping upright and not getting pulled forward at the bottom.
