I use them just so that my grip is not the limiting factor. Todays session: Bench Press 20x20 last rep paused 60x10 " 80x8 " I do this extra set whenever I feel I need to warm up a bit more thoroughly 100x6 " 130x3 " 142.5x5 pb 142.5x4 130x5 all paused 120x6 " 110x8 " Underarm Chins BWx12 BWx12 BWx12 BWx12 My hands are f**king wrecked ie calluses have peeled off and I have a huge split between my hand and finger so heavy back work was out of the question. So I just did sets of 12 on chins. | ||

He's BACK Member 177, 1039 posts SQ 230, BP 155, DL 300685.0 kgs @ 95kgs UnEq | Tonights session: Squats 60x10 100x8 140x5 180x3 belt on 202.5x7 massive pb!!! 180x8 140x10 Standing Calf Raises 100x6 200x4 360x6 f**king awesome session. My previous pb on squats was 200x5 so I was going to go 202.5 for a small pb. But once I got to 5 I felt there was 1 more, so I did it. Then people were shouting at me and I felt good so I thought "f**k it, why not?" and did a 7th rep. Then some nice steady back-down sets. My plan after the worlds will be to work on 5s, and to include back-down sets. They feel so easy after hitting a top set and technique is easier to nail. Shoulders, curls and cardio tomorrow night. | ||
