Cheers guys.

Titch, Ive never heard them called Griff grips before? I use them just so that my grip is not the limiting factor.

Todays session:

Bench Press
20x20 last rep paused
60x10 "
80x8 " I do this extra set whenever I feel I need to warm up a bit more thoroughly
100x6 "
130x3 "
142.5x5 pb
142.5x4
130x5 all paused
120x6 "
110x8 "

Underarm Chins
BWx12
BWx12
BWx12
BWx12

My hands are f**king wrecked ie calluses have peeled off and I have a huge split between my hand and finger so heavy back work was out of the question. So I just did sets of 12 on chins.

Griff Grips are straps, in honour of Matt's love affair with them.

Good benching Phil!

T, no, the bench press top sets werent paused. I reckon if I paused I could have only done 3.

Tonights session:

Squats
60x10
100x8
140x5
180x3 belt on
202.5x7 massive pb!!!
180x8
140x10

Standing Calf Raises
100x6
200x4
360x6

f**king awesome session. My previous pb on squats was 200x5 so I was going to go 202.5 for a small pb. But once I got to 5 I felt there was 1 more, so I did it. Then people were shouting at me and I felt good so I thought "f**k it, why not?" and did a 7th rep. Then some nice steady back-down sets.

My plan after the worlds will be to work on 5s, and to include back-down sets. They feel so easy after hitting a top set and technique is easier to nail.

Shoulders, curls and cardio tomorrow night.
