Attempted 80kg push press but a bit of an epic fail! In no shape at all for the unit novice comp & prob weaker than 6mth ago. I love a comp T shirt though so last place is fine lol. Think barbell push pressing will be the future for a while so hope to get a bit of progress going in reps/kg.

Loving the westside massive on the box squats. Will be mixing squats up in (box, front, smith & back squats every 4th week) Attempting to impove my deadlift with more power in the hips & legs for ripping the bar off the floor.

Just a short one with the unit novice comp on sat. Not a bad session & felt a fair bit stronger today. 35 push press was so easy just cause of a bit better tech, Oh & of course the westside shoes lol

Unit 20 novice classic feb 2010

Not in great shape for this at all but f**k it may as well give it a go. Realistic goals for the day are!

90kg axle clean & press. Really doubt ill get a rep on this! Just feels a mile away
15" deadlift. Prob 210 maybe 220 if all goes well.
yoke. Not been going well so dont think ill finish the course so distance is key.
Frame carry. Not seen or tried but hoping for a time on this & complete the course.
45kg dumbell. A rep would be amazing, dont think ill be too far away so fingers crossed.

Would think that will put me last or very close too it. Time will tell Roll-Eyes

Jnr destroyed me on the box squats & I could hardly move & of course im a dick lol. Fully intended coming but just wrecked mate would have been a negative I think.

DONE. Decent workout today after a long weekend building snowmen in the highlands. Really enjoying the new westside inspired training with jnr, he is pushing harder than i push myself do think i will get some good gains. Thanks for the big wing mate lol.
Oh & a Pb on the front squat, really happy cause its been a rare thing recently but looking for a good few more with the new mix on training.....

A mix bag of exercise but felt pretty strong even though the numbers aren't huge it does feel a step forward with the pressing. Long way to go but positive it will come.
