Had an awesome day & big thanks to Kenny, Hunter & the team for a well run comp also Mrs Kenny for her scoring duties. Went better than expected & got 6th. Kinda went, Dead lift 200kg, 6 reps 120 farmers & 260 yoke, full distance on farmers & about 12m on yoke Press medley, 80kg log 80kg axle 54kg dumbbell tried 100kg log but no Tyre 300kg, 4 flips Loading, 80kg keg 100kg sandbag 120kg keg. 120 bag too much 160 duck walk & arm over arm, finished in about 62 sec. Thanks to everyone involved in today's comp, great effort all round. Well felt strong enough today but speed & fitness was poor & cost me. Highlight was joint 1st on the dead lift with 13reps, don't know where that came from but felt comfy. Press completed all 4 objects but not fast Dead lift 13reps Yoke full distance but again slow Medley block easy enough & 90kg stone ok but wrecked by the time I got to the chain & really didn't want to drag it lol. Managed a few metres. Tyre 4flips & fitness went so no more Stones up to the 120 but back & legs gone by now. Felt strong today but the lesson is fitness count a lot. | |||

Last night @ T/hall Rear delts 4 sets of 10 Push press (bar x 10, 45 x10 strict) 65 x5, 75 x5, 85 x2, 95 x1PB, 75 x5 Bench 60 x5, 70 x5, 80 x5, 90 x2, 100 x1 Dips Bw x 5 x 4 Happy to get 95kg pb but was a bit of a grinder, managed to press out after a bit of a fight so triceps getting stronger which is good news lol 100kg bench was supposed to be a double but too much of a fight & left it there Looking for 105kg push press for June so heading in the correct direction | |||

Note, cant train yoke & 18's the next day. | |||

Today @ IS Pretty much just yoke & nothing much else Yoke 140 x30m, 180 x30m, 260 x20m (PB) Not heavy in the grand scheme of things but a yoke PB for me, 260 wasn't fast but no drops & steady enough. Best before was 260 for a stumbling 10m Happy with the progress Picked up 300 & managed about 3 steps lol. Target for June is 320 for 12m Time to train yoke then | |||
